I haven't forgotten about you...

Hi!

I find myself so distracted/busy/interested in other things...you know, normal life stuff.

Heres what's up with me:

1) Moving in March, so I've been crazy busy trying to make it all happen. Moving is stressful

2) Life moves pretty fast, just like Ferris Bueller always said. I work Monday to Friday, run twice a week, and go to the gym every Wednesday. I don't have much free time.

3) Weekends are precious, and I've been busy doing stuff...or watching Friends on Netflix...one of those.

4) I have been blogging, just not here. I created a specific blog to talk about my experiences in Hamilton, where I work: http://numbertwobus.blogspot.ca/  feel free to check it out.

5) I'm trying to be less self-involved and whiney...so that eliminates like 90% of my topics.

Ring-a-Ding-Ding

Yesterday I was busy slaving over a hot glue gun making items for my Etsy Shop. I'd actually started crafting a few nights before because I decided that I was going to make all my friends with fall birthdays (4 people) key pendant necklaces painted with nail polish. I'd show you photos but I never took any and now they're all wrapped...oops.

I followed that up with a teapot themed charm bracelet:

I'm happy with how this turned out. My fingers hurt from making this!

So back to yesterday. Yesterday I had this idea to make cocktail rings. I bought some stretchy adjustable ring bases not long ago, but I had no idea what to do with them. I decided to just go through my stash until I found suitable cocktail ring items. Though I pretty much superglued my fingers to the table, I think the project was a success:

I slept late, I have to work, I have a freelance job to work on after work...so today's playlist is another Lazy Genius Playlist. I'll select one song and let that be my DJ.

1. Sweet Thing by Van Morrison - I decided to start with an Irish singer in honour of St. Patrick's Day this coming Saturday.

2. Shelter from the Storm by Bob Dylan - Hopefully we don't get too much rain this week.

3. Graceland by Paul Simon - One of my favourite songs from my childhood.

4. The Hardest Part by Coldplay - Not one of my favourites, but certainly a decent song.

5. Keep the Car Running by Arcade Fire - Such a good Arcade Fire song. Thanks Genius!

6. House of Cards by Radiohead - A song from In Rainbows.

7. Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley - Really good song. If you've never listened to any Jeff Buckley I suggest you do so now.

8. Cookie Jar by Jack Johnson - A song about the media and how they place blame on things like violent video games and movies for why people commit crimes.

9. Mysterious Ways by U2 - Another classic Irish band! I love old U2 albums.

10. Volcano by Damien Rice - Lastly, a fantastic voice from Ireland. He might make you cry though. This song isn't as sad as others.
